The Financial Intelligence Unit maintains information on entities included in sanctions lists - natural or legal persons, or other identifiable entities (such as a media outlet or a paramilitary group) - against whom sanctions have been imposed by the United Nations (hereinafter - UN), the European Union (hereinafter - EU), or the Republic of Latvia.
Please note that the sanctions search tool contains information only on entities included in sanctions lists against whom targeted financial sanctions have been imposed. The search tool does not provide information on other types of sanctions (such as restrictions on the movement of goods and services or other types of restrictions). More detailed information on EU sanctions is available on the EU sanctions map.
The search tool does not reflect sanctions individually imposed by the EU or member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) (e.g., sanctions imposed by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or the United Kingdom). Additional information on sanctions imposed by OFAC is available at https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov, while information on sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom is available at https://search-uk-sanctions-list.service.gov.uk/.
Information in the sanctions search tool is updated within 24 hours of the publication of changes.
